I really admire Alyelle's art, and her OC is amazing, so although I know I have a very slim chance of actually placing in this (not because my art is particularly bad as such, but because practically every other artist on Scratch is also going to join and most of them are much more skilled than I am- seriously, with people like GameGirlX and ObviouslyEvE and Cherrei and Mintyii and Cru-mble in this contest, I don't stand much of a chance), here's my entry anyway. I hope you like this! Done 100% on Scratch Vector Editor. (OK, so I also used Bitmap to be able to draw on top of sketches without accidentally integrating one into the other. All of the final art piece was SVE though.) See inside for sketches and suchlike, if you're interested. I changed the design up a bit, because I like gathered skirts. Also I thought the cuff details added to the sort of vibe I had. Shame they were so tricky to shade. I spent so long on the hair, and /now/ I realise that hair does not behave like that. Especially given that the rest of her clothing is not that dramatically windswept. RATS. /Why/ didn't I spot that earlier? The moon is gibbous, because gibbous moons are sadly underrepresented in art but the name is far and away the most fun to say out loud. Note to self: Do not try radical new attempt at dramatic angles in conjunction with returning to lineless art for the first time in months EVER again. No music, because I couldn't find anything suitable that matches my tastes. Alyelle is NOT a classical music person, from what I understand.
