Several people, mostly women, were being accused of witchcraft left and right, and were sentenced to death based on whatever evidence the townspeople could scrape together. Chantrieri , who at the time was known as Salazar, was drawn to these curious events and often entertained the thought of practicing witchcraft. He envied those to devoted their life to magic and sorcery, and wished to develop a knowledge of these practices. They spent countless hours studying herbs and remedies, and would often spy on those that it deemed suspicious in attempt to learn the secrets of sorcery. As they got older, Chantrieri began to grow attached to a fair maiden named Annabelle, whom they thought to practice witchcraft. They went from casually spying on her to approaching and eventually becoming incredibly close with her. Unfortunately, young Annabelle was swept away by a sudden ailment that plagued the village, leaving Chantrieri devastated. In their fury and sorrow, they gathered any information on rituals and attempted to contact the dead, in which they required a vacated human vessel, Chantrieri was found out and sentenced to death for witchcraft. As they were being handled, Chantrieri broke free and fled, retreating deep into the forest. In current day, they are found exploring the deep woods and examining herbs, mysteriously treating fallen travelers who they find amongst the woodland. -- yeah it's 2:40 am and I'm not a good writer I'm checking out Have a good one lmao, and remember to drink water :]
