Instructions

BIO: One of the largest of its family, the Keratoepetou is a medium sized descendant of the Efstrofopodaraki. An omnivore, this 8 foot long creature has one of the strongest bite forces as of now, with a huge 1200 PSI. This is likely thanks to its gigantic frill, which anchors the jaw muscles and allowing them to close extremely fast. Despite this, it is mostly a plant eater and uses them to crunch tough seeds in the ground, which it digs up with its 0.3 meter horns. Its massive sail is no longer used to stabilize itself, as it is fully terrestrial. Instead, it is used for display, with males sporting some quills at the front part of the sail. The Keratoerpetou also has two huge tusks sprouting from its mouth, which it rubs against a tree to sharpen them. This allows it to inflict terrible wounds to a predator, thus they are used as an alternative way of defense. The main and most dangerous weapons are the horns. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Information ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Location(s): Forests near the coast Endangerment level: [1-5 scale] 2 Diet: Omnivorous Prey: Ancalusuchus, small insects Role: Grazer Lifespan: 10 Typhon years ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Evolution ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Evolved from Efstrofopodaraki https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/706621374/ Evolve to: A quadraped animal similar to Chasmosaurines. Phases lived: 4 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Trivia (OPTIONAL) ------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Keratoerpetou sports a yellow crest that can be found between the horns. Although the long feathers on it are used for display, the use of the actual crest is unique to almost any animal on Typhon. The Keratoerpetou uses this crest to send out a loud booming call, which warns predators to keep away from it. Despite its forearms' shape, the Keratoerpetou is almost always a biped. However, it is likely that this will change in the future, as the legs are ridiculously short for a reptile this size. It is also surprisingly fast too, reaching a speed of up to 30 km.

Description

Yes, this is a reptile.
