My friend @Bomar123 and I have both reached some follower milestones recently (well, they have), and we decided to host a collaborative DMC to celebrate! We've actually had this planned for a while now, but we decided that this was the perfect time to actually go through with it. We’ve provided four different characters- two of ours each- for you to choose from. Simply press the 'references' button and click or press any key to go through each design. (All of the information listed here is found inside the project as well.) ⊱ ───── {.⋅ ✯ ⋅.} ───── ⊰ Characters: #1 Callisto (@3oYoPo)- Female, she/her, 20. Callisto (Callie) is a vampire. She was infected at the age of eight and wasted no time in making quite the questionable reputation for herself amongst the supernatural. But now, roughly a century later (the aging process is slowed for vampires), she has been hit with reality and decided to try and live a normal life instead, getting a job at her local mall. However, challenges do come when one is living as vampire amongst humans, and those she wronged in her past aren't exactly finished with her either. Personality-wise, she is, to put it bluntly, an introverted jerk with little to no social experience. A'arienne is a demon, her kind has long been banished from the world after losing a war. The demons now hide underground, and their grand cities have never been found by any other species. She grew up in the capital, raised by a prestigious family, and lived a fairly normal life, until she manifested her first natural power. As she would later learn, this power allowed her to do something that the morally questionable ruler of the demons greatly coveted, and not for any good reasons. She fled her home soon after he found out what she could do and has been on the run ever since. Unfortunately, the demons chose the worst possible time to strike back against the above-grounders and start a new war, so she's sort of stuck in the middle of all that as well. She's not an unlikeable person, she's very nice, extremely intelligent and funny. She just doesn't like to trust many people. After all, in the world she lives in, everyone has an ulterior motive. ⊱ ───── {.⋅ ✯ ⋅.} ───── ⊰ Six winners will be chosen in total. There will be an overall first, second and third place. These titles encompass all entries. There will also be a winner for best entry for each character, although if you win for a character then you cannot place in the overall, and vice versa. (This of course depends on us getting at least two-three entries for each person lol) First- 35 follows, 15 hearts and 15 stars, shoutout for a month and a commission from each of us. Second- 20 follows, 10 hearts and 10 stars, shoutout for 15 days and a commission from one of us (you get to choose which we won't be offended lol). Third- 15 follows, 5 hearts, 5 stars, shoutout for a week and a bust commission from one of us (""). All character winners will receive 10 follows, 3 hearts and stars each, along with a shoutout for a week respectively. (NOTE- The number of follows, hearts and stars to be won is always subject to change depending on the amount of prizegivers we end up with by the deadline.) ⊱ ───── {.⋅ ✯ ⋅.} ───── ⊰ RULES: -YOU MUST REMIX EITHER THIS OR BOMAR’S PROJECT TO ENTER -NO ART BASES such as, but not limited to, Picrew and Gacha -Reference is allowed, but NO TRACING -NO STEALING art, all art submitted must be done 90% by you -MINOR design changes are allowed (such as simplifying an outfit or changing hairstyles), but the character must STILL BE RECOGNIZABLE -No species changes -Each person can submit ONLY ONE ENTRY -You may include more than one character in your drawing -You can enter AND be a prizegiver, let us know if you want to be one in the comments -This is NOT a DTA, these characters still belong to us -NO HATE towards yourself or others! Every piece submitted is good, despite the skill level, and the most important thing is that you did your best.
