Yue is a half-moon spirit and has its life force inside of her, so after it dies, she gives it back the force and becomes the moon so she's literally in the stars. Then Sokka falls in love with some random girl (also very hot) and Yue being THE MOON has to watch them being lovey-dovey while she saved his life to be A MOON
