(Reshared to add 2 extra subspecies) Click to see the two other examples (TW) Blood Don't you dare any of you say something like "Creepers are a monster in Minecraft why're you stealing the name" First off, "Creeper" means vine, so no, I am not stealing the name(I don't think "Creeper" is even licensed). This kind of Creeper has absolutely nothing to do with MC ones. And second, it sounds "right" alrighty? "Vine beast" sounds weird okay now shush. --::Questions the artists must answer::-- --1. What does your beast look like?-- Creepers are beasts made completely out of plants. Its head appears to be an oversized flower, usually with 3 petals or more. Its body is made of vines and stem, while its legs and hindquarters are thick branches. The tail is a long, twisting bundle of vines twined together with palm leaf-shaped spikes on the end. In the center of its head, where the pistil would be on a normal flower, is an eye. This beast is about the size of a large wolf, but in tropical climates it can grow to the size of a tiger. --2. Do any traits your beast have serve a purpose in evolution?-- For some reason I don't completely understand what you mean by this but they can adapt to drier climates by shrinking their leaves. And they close their petals around the eye to keep from getting dust in it, since they have no eyelids to wipe away foreign objects. --3. Does your beast have subspecies with different traits?-- There are many subspecies, about as many as there are different kinds of flowers since the only seriously noticeable difference with the subspecies are the heads, which can be any kind of flower. For example, there are Sunflower Creepers, Marigold Creepers, Tulip Creepers, ect. ect. They don't really differ in traits except that depending on what type of flower it is, it may require more sun, more food, wetter climates, ect. --4. What does your beast eat?-- This plant, strangely enough, is actually carnivorous. More specifically, it drinks blood. Since it doesn't have any sort of mouth, it uses its claws to suck up blood from other creatures like a normal plant sucks up water with its roots. Creepers attack and kill any animal or human they find, then drink their fill of the creature's blood. --5. What are your beast’s natural predators if any?-- It doesn't have natural predators at the moment. It's made out of plants, so only herbivores would want to eat it, but herbivores usually aren't very aggressive, so they don't go looking for Creepers. --6. Where does your beast fit in the food chain?-- It's one of the top predators. Other more aggressive beasts will try to drive this creature away, or kill it because of the danger it poses to any living creature. --7. What kind of habitat does your beast live in?-- It depends on what type of flower the specific beasts head is, so it ranges from forests to mountains to grasslands. But they are found most in heavily forested areas. --8. How does your beast care for the sickly, elderly or young?-- These plant-beasts can't get sick, but can become infested with bark-eating beetles, aphids, and other bugs that destroy plants. Creepers are fairly uncaring towards their own kind, but family groups will stick together and care for each other, including their sick, elderly, and young. Though if a lone Creeper finds another lone Creeper who is sick/elderly/young(or in their mind, weak), the stronger Creeper will likely kill the weak one to reduce the competition for prey. --9. Are your beasts group creatures or solitary?-- They mainly come together in family groups, though lone Creepers do exist, and sometimes one especially powerful Creeper can force together several family groups and create a "Megapack". --10. Are there any special cultures/rituals that your beast has/performs?-- Not really, they behave mainly like wolves, but are more willing to break into cities and towns to find prey. ◈Credits◈ ◊ Idea inspired by @_-FenFren-_ ◊ Design by @SkechIndeed ◊ Art by @SkechIndeed ◊ Drawn in Medibang Paint Pro
