After the release of weOS 1, Dragintosh began to give employees a new OS to run on the prototype wePhine 2 device. It was called the weOS Tester, and featured new things (features in Notes & Credits). Dragintosh embraced modifying the weOS source code, as someone might come up with new quality of life features.
