This project shows that there can be many ways to program the same thing, but there are often reasons to choose a certain method over another. Each robot defines its own COUNT script with a pink block at the top. 1. Look at the COUNT scripts for Robot1 and Robot2. What do you predict they will do? 2. Test them out. Is there any difference? 3. What happens if you change one number in Robot 1’s script? What about Robot2? 4. How would you make each of them: - Count up in 10s to 100? - Count down from 10 to 0? - Count down in 7s from 70? Which script is easier to adapt? 5. Write your own script to make Robot 3 count using the loose blocks in its scripting area. Think about the order that will make your code easiest to adapt. Can you make the robot ask which times tables to recite, then recite them? Once you’re finished you can add some more blocks to make your robot move, speak, or do something else!
