Cat Blocks make coding more fun, and it's attracted more members (some who even have Cat Blocks as their username) and Scratch's mascot is the Scratch Cat, so why not have cats? It generally makes people happy and inspires Scratchers to make custom profile pictures and drawings. The green flag is a big image around Scratch, and Cat Block would be a great addition!"
