WHAT IS THIS? In my school, there is this new thing called a point system. (5th grade point system)You get 1 point per period, and we have 7 periods (7 points per day) Maybe for special prizes, sure, the points will work, but we need them to do things all students should be allowed to participate in (with permission of parents). We need 220 points to sign a yearbook? We also need points to go on field trips, I think around 200 or something? This is a petition to get rid of that system. Even signing it even if you're not at my school helps! (Fourth grade) There is a system called the dojo points system. I HATE it. You get 1 point per day. If you change your card you lose points. You can buy things in the dojo store for points. What's wrong with this? Kids should do the right thing without NEEDING incentive. I believe we should get rid of dojo points all together.
