Hello everyone! Many of you have seen my fake AMV TNEs, and might have wondered what they actually are? (AMV= Animated music video. TNE= Thumbnail entry.) Well, the basic idea is, I get an idea! When I hear a song that reminds me of a character or a relationship between two characters, I imagine them running/dancing/playing or something you would animate animals doing in an Animated Music Video, but making one of those take A LOT of time. So I choose a pose that conveys the main emotions of the characters, for example, take one of my latest. The book series Warriors starts off with a young housecat who finds his way into a wild cat clan in the woods near his home, the leader of the clan sees his potential to be a great warrior, so she mentors him in how the clan cats behave and live. This reminded me of a song from My Little Pony A New Gen, called, "Fit Right In" where a unicorn teaches two earth ponies and two pegasi how to act like unicorns so they can sneak into the unicorn village. The housecat and the ponies have something in common, they both have a friend who is showing them how to do something they've never done before! I drew the housecat and the clan leader sitting near each other with friendly expressions, the housecat is eagerly looking to the leader for instructions, and the leader is smiling down at the housecat. Then I wrote in easy-to-see letters that stood out, "You're gonna fit right in!" And then I added the music. (I had to edit the music to say something else than unicorns because these were cats and not unicorns lol.) Anyone can make these! As long as you credit people if you use someone else's characters or songs! I have a list of songs and characters that I could make into fake AMVs but if the song is not on Scratch already I don't make them because I can't really record songs very well. So I use other people's songs and credit them, simple as that! I always use my own art though, it's just so fun to see your idea come to life! I hope this was helpful, have a fun day! ♥ Sunshine P.S.
