Here's a short project I made in about 15 more minutes. This, instead of only creating one island creates a whole planet out of shiny things. Cities (in black), Forests (dark green) and even Larger Cities (in black also) add to overall values defining the population, number of jobs and how foresty the planet is. Like the Island Generator this generator features varied heights and mountains. The generator is multithreaded and makes a planet in about the same time it takes to make an Island with the Island Generator. See what kind of combinations you can get and share them with us. :) Ways that you can change this project include making a game out of it, advancing the economy aspect or adding ecological things. To be added: Warmer terrain texture when closer to the equator. Please tell me what you think. :)
