The traveler meets Yufei first on their way to the Kamisato estate, for a reason Yufei won’t tell them, and coincidentally(?) meets him a few more times on their way on finding their twin. The first thing that the traveler notices about him, is that he’s almost not accustomed to his vision, like he was originally a different element.
