There's a female version inside the project(I used the male because they have larger pedipalps) This is the largest Amblypygi (tailless whipscorpion / whipspider) in the world with a two foot antenniform leg span. They are a new world species that are native to the Amazon rainforest. They belong to the Phrynidae family with around 60 others. They may have a creepy appearance but are harmless to humans. They are carnivorous and feed on insects and small vertebrates. Because they are from the Amazon rainforest, they are endangered due to habitat destruction. Luckily they can survive quite well in captivity and some people keep them as pets and are successful at breeding and raising them. If you want some for your own breeding project, or just as a pet, you can find websites that sell them like this one: https://www.03arachnids.com/product-page/heterophrynus-batesii . Just remember before you get one, research as much information you can get. I'd recommend getting this book called "Breeding the World's Largest Living Arachnid: Amblypygid (Whipspider) Biology, Natural History, and Captive Husbandry" by Orin A. McMonigle. Keep in mind they are large arachnids so you need a larger enclosure. Some people spell it as "tailless whip scorpion or whip spider" but whipscorpion and whipspider is one word #whip #spider #scorpion #arachnid #arthropod #invertebrate Credits: Ross Bugden https://cooltext.com/
