¡Hola a todos! I told you I’d be posting more often! I haven’t done an art contest in, like… three weeks, so I figured I’d get back on it. They’re a really great way to find drawing inspiration when you just can’t think of any ideas. Anyways, there were a few different entry options provided, but I’ve honestly loved Squirrel Girl (aka Doreen Green) for a long time- seriously, Marvel, when are we getting movies for these guys?- so I decided to draw her. This actually took me unnecessarily long because I kept messing up then starting over again, mostly because Doreen has a different body type than I’m used to drawing- definitely something I’ll be working on- and I was overthinking it. I’m still not happy with how that aspect of this drawing turned out. But aside from that, I think it doesn’t look too bad. Aside from the arm. And the way Scratch erased half of the shading so that it looks weird. And the tail. Hasta luego~
