This is one of my made-up warrior cats! Barkstripe is a former medicine cat, who fell in love with Sunheart, and gave up his role to be with her. Oh, by the way, Barkstripe and Sunheart, are part of BirchClan. I'll make another project about Sunheart! Barkstripe was born to Acornclaw and Billowmoon, along with his sister Larkpaw, who was killed by a fox shortly after she was apprenticed. Barkpaw, who at that time was training as a warrior apprentice, was devastated by his sister's death. He vowed he would never let another cat die like that again, and he asked Doeleaf, the medicine cat at the time, to let him be her apprentice. Doeleaf agreed. A few moons later, three cats were found near the Thunderpath. They were took into BirchClan as one of them, Sun, had been badly wounded. Unfortunately, a few days after the warriors were taken in, Doeleaf was killed by a NightClan patrol for unknown reasons. Barkpaw went to the Moongrove alone that full moon, and became Barkstripe, a full medicine cat. Barkstripe and Sun began to spend more and more time together. Sun was nearly fully recovered, and got a new name, Sunheart. And so, Barkstripe gave up being a medicine cat for Sunheart.
