Inspired by a work of art I saw many years ago in Japan, depicting a row of ants walking into a book, and coming out on the other side carrying letters. I couldn't find an image online, but I managed to track down the title and artist: 蟻 (Ants) by キクチマサフミ (Masafumi Kikuchi). Graphics by me, drawn in the Scratch paint editor. The font is Vollkorn by Friedrich Althausen: https://github.com/FAlthausen/Vollkorn-Typeface I converted the OFT file to Scratch costumes using the Font Injector for @-Rex-'s Stamp Font Engine++: https://rexscratch.github.io/sfeplus-injector/ The passages are from a few books I really enjoyed reading: • The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien • The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams • Neuromancer by William Gibson • Nineteen Eighty-Four by George Orwell • Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? by Philip K. Duck* • Ready Player One by Ernest Cline • A Princess of Mars by Edgar Rice Burroughs * The bad word filter won't let me write his actual last name, so I changed "i" to "u".
