Description

This project was inspired by Marian Small at OAME2022 who said, "Choose two numbers that are two apart. Multiple them. Square the number halfway between them. What do you notice? Why? She also said, "The the reasoning part is not the answer, the reasoning part is about what what assumptions make sense and how reasonable those assumptions are." Algebraic explanation: (n - 1) (n + 1) = (n) (n) -n + n -1 = (n) (n) - 1
