"A hero is a person who says yes to the adventure," - Kendra Levin Hello and welcome to Ghostveil's Totally Not Flawed Training Guide! Since xe has received xyr first apprentice, Sealpaw, I decided to go ahead and make a project detailing everything Sealpaw will be learning from the Phantom of the Rivulets themself. Not all of these lessons will be covered IRP, but I'd imagine they'll happen OORP. If there's anything you [Blue] would like to ask me, feel free to do so! Without further ado, let's get to it! MOON 1: - An in-depth tour of the territory! - Finding a secret base (to do Hero Stuff™) - An introduction to storytelling - Hero etiquette (recognizing when someone's in danger, acting with bravery, etc) - Free Time! (Nea the end of each moon, Ghostveil will grant Sealpaw free time. For a couple of days, she may do as she pleases) MOON 2: - An introduction to basic hunting, fighting and swimming (or as Ghostveil likes to call them, "The Boring Three") - Story fundamentals (learning about plot, character tropes, dialogue, etc) - More patrolling (specifically on other clans' borders- this is to encourage Sealpaw to make new friends) - Improving communication skills (Hero Stuff™) - Free time! MOON 3: - The different techniques of fishing - Basic defensive skills - Swimming in deeper water + recognizing dangerous water hazards - Developing characters, plot, dialogue - An introduction to tree climbing, stealth, critical thinking, and voice mimicking - Helping other cats (Starting from here, Ghostveil will send Sealpaw on daily errands to help other cats. This will also encourage her to think about her "cause;" best described as what she's fighting for) - Free time! MOON 4: - The different techniques of land prey and fishing - Advance defensive skills + basic offensive skills - Swimming (what to do if someone's drowning) - Daily patrols - Learning about the different genres of a story - Climbing up a tree and how to get down - Camouflage and masking one's scent - Critical thinking - Copying other cats' voices - Physical training (improving Sealpaw's strength and stamina because Hero Stuff™) - Helping other cats and being empathetic (may be a little lacklustre since Ghostveil is empathetic himself but he doesn't really care about others lol) - Free time! MOON 5: - Practising hunting land + water prey - Expert defensive skills + advanced offensive skills - Practising swimming - Honing Sealpaw's storytelling skills - Physical training, review on communication skills, helping other cats, mental health check-in - Practising climbing, stealth, critical thinking, and voice mimicking - Free time! MOON 6: - A review on hunting, swimming, tree climbing, stealth, voice mimicking, storytelling, patrolling, and Hero Stuff™ - A lesson on why ducks are evil (Ghostveil saved the best for last lol) - Expert defensive and offensive skills MOON 7: - Continued reviewing with hunting, swimming, fighting, tree climbing, stealth, voice mimicking, storytelling, patrolling, and Hero Stuff™ (From this point, Ghostveil will give Sealpaw daily quizzes on each subject) - If there's anything Sealpaw would like to review, Ghostveil will be happy to do so! - Free time! Congrats, you made it to the end! By now, Sealpaw will have the following skills: - Advanced hunting on all the types of prey - Advance fighting (includes water combat too) - Patrolling the borders - Swimming (this includes recognizing dangerous water hazards, different swimming styles, and what to do when someone's drowning) - Stealth - Critical thinking (I'd imagine Ghostveil was smart but he never used his brain unless it was for a story lol) - Mimicking voices (she will need to practise on her own since Ghostveil is still developing his own skill) - Tree climbing (Both up and down) - Storytelling :-] - A hatred for ducks (Blame Buttonsaga, he's the one who told Ghostveil ducks were evil lol) - Hero Stuff™
