Description

UPDATE v1.1: Added jump sound UPDATE v2.0: Replaced standard Scratch variable monitor for score with a custom, clone-based score counter (thanks to @griffpatch for the custom score counter tutorial), and the score now resets at 99,999 UPDATE v2.1: Made sound play and score incrementing pause briefly for every 100 points (thanks to Google for the sound, which is from the Chrome no Wi-Fi dinosaur game) UPDATE v2.2: Made score increment slower UPDATE v2.3: Made score increment slightly faster UPDATE v2.3.1: Updated Y positions of clouds in background and made popsicle stick hills positioned slightly deeper into the ground UPDATE v2.3.2: Patched (fixed) score counter 100-points animation bug for when you touch a popsicle stick hill while the score counter is currently doing its 100-point blink animation, that caused the blinking to continue after touching one of the hills, and made Kirby start slightly farther right from the left edge UPDATE v2.4: Added support for using the spacebar to jump UPDATE v3.0: Added title screen and made score calculation speed up as the rest of the game speeds up UPDATE v3.0.1: Fixed bug causing clone limit to be reached when restarting after touching a hill UPDATE v3.1: Made score counter zero-padded (i.e., it shows a certain amount of whole-number digits with zeroes used in place of all of the blank digits) Credits: Kirby (and this game's music, which is "Gourmet Race" from Kirby Super Star) - Nintendo and HAL Laboratory Kirby sprite, ground sprite, and popsicle stick hill sprite - @SMB_Fan2010 (me) Cloud sprite - The Scratch sprite library Thumbnail text - cooltext.com Scratch 3.0 endless runner tutorial - @ShiftClickLearn Inspiration - Google and myself (@SMB_Fan2010) (for Chrome no Wi-Fi dinosaur runner and my older Scratch endless runner, Scratch Cat Run (available at https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/659890684), whose concepts inspired this game's concept), and Nintendo and HAL Laboratory (for Kirby, of course) Jump sound - @scraer Custom score counter tutorial - @griffpatch 100 points sound - Google Everything else - @SMB_Fan2010 (me) Tags: #all #games #game #kirby #kirbo #run #kirbyrun #kirborun #kirb #kirbrun #runner #runnergame #kirbyrunner #kirbrunner #kirborunner #kirbyrunnergame #kirbrunnergame #kirborunner game #endless #endlessrunner #endlessrunnergame #popsicle #stick #popsiclestick #sticks #popsiclesticks #hill #hills #popsiclehill #popsiclestickhill #popsiclehills #popsiclestickhills #bourbon #nintendo #hal #laboratory #labs #hallaboratory #hallabs #google #chrome #chromedino #dinosaur #dino #googledino #googlechromedino #chromedinogame #googlechromedinogame
