2005-2008 Acura RL TCR - space or click on the car to change liveries - - HIGHLY FICTIONAL: CAR WAS NEVER BUILT AND COULD NOT FIT IN ANY CLASS IF IT WERE. - Description: The Acura RL turned into a homemade TCR car. Not for official TCR, this car is to sketch for that, more like the classes in NLS series or Pirelli challenge. Many liveries to choose from here, first the test "livery", something that was very fun to make. Then we have the official liveries, starting with a NASCAR 2008 Michael Waltrip NAPA based team Acura livery. Followed up by a team Acura livery based on a NSX pace car I found. Last and least, the team gained a Money Lion sponsor and ruined the livery. I've learnt that the Money Lion colors only work on newer styled liveries. Specs: Top Speed: 153 MPH 0-60 time: 4.2 sec Engine: Tuned 3.7L V6 Trans: 6-speed Racing Sequential Transmission Horsepower: 323 bHP (relatively high for a TCR) Drivetrain: All-Wheel Drive (Making it illegal for WTCR and BTCC)
The Acura TCR was a beast in the straights, even overtaking some GT4 spec vehicles. However, its extremely heavy weight and lack of areo made it a slug in the corners. It still ended up successful, with 3 podiums including 2 wins in its class, one in Monza and one in Indianapolis Motor Speedway, infield course of course, where it won on the last banked turn, building a small gap with its overpowering engine.
