TW: Bl00d --------------------- 049 watched as a fellow District 8 tribute walked out of the room where the Gamemakers were. The black tom had no plans, nothing, in preparation for the event. He was going to wing it, and hope for the best. His name was called out, and he slowly walked into the room, taking deep breaths. --------------------------------- As he walked in, a familiar set of eyes greeted him. /Wait a second./ He froze. It was the one and only President Imperium. /Oh sh00t. This is an issue./ He scanned the room, and saw more troubles. The raised platforms, the wind..... the odds weren't in his favor. He took yet another deep breath, and began his performance. ---------------------------------- He stepped onto a square which boosted him up to a platform. 049 eyed a platform with herbs, and.... oh g0d, was that a dy!ng mouse? An especially strong gust of wind blew through, and he nearly fell off. He then ran and jumped as fast as he could to his selected platform, and made it there safely. The mouse had a large cut on its side, and was slowly bl33ding to d3@th. /Okay. I can fix this./ He took stock of the assortment of leaves, berries, and other items at his disposal, and carefully selected a cobweb and some green berries. He slit the berries open with his claws, and squeezed the juice into the mouse's wound. Imperium looked at his display inquisitively. Then, he took the cobweb and wrapped it around the mouse's midsection. As an afterthought, he removed the cobwebs, placed some leaves on the mouse, and wrapped the cobwebs again. As he started to walk away from the mouse, he was knocked off his paws by an even bigger gust, and slid toward the edge of the platform. /No, no, it can't end like this./ He thought as he eyed the ropes connecting the platform to the ceiling. He stretched his right foreleg towards the nearest rope, and grabbed hold of it. 049's back legs dangled off of the platform, and he was dangerously close to falling off. However, he managed to pull himself back on, and walk/jump back to the raised square. He was then excused, and the masked cat sighed in relief. He walked out, and tried to ignore the weird stare the president was giving him. The next tribute was then called in, and 049 collapsed on the ground from exhaustion. ---------------------------- Credits Art: Me Characters: 049, based off of SCP-049, and President Imperium Music: Finale, from the Undertale soundtrack composed by Toby Fox (I'm probably going to use this song for the rest of my THGRP projects)
