Note: "Toby" is a term I invented for somebody who is sensitive (which is fine), but then reacts in a horrible, unexcused way. For example, if you say to someone, "You're annoying" as a joke, they may respond by saying that's impolite, then yelling to their mommy and getting you in trouble. It's fine to be sensitive, but a Toby reacts in a rude way. Tobies are different than Karens because.... Tobies are the type of people who worship school bullying videos Don't understand jokes exist Think that everything that says stuff against what they think is bad is right Think they're always doing the right thing Have never heard of apologizing. Karens are different because they take an aggressive approach, while Tobies take a very inappropriate emotional approach Overall, I think Tobies can be worse, because Karens aren't always bad, while it is hard to even be in a room with a Toby because you have to act like a lizard person.
