【You've reached the Comment Section】 Good Day Mates! How is everyone's summer? Mine is going bizarre at the moment but hey- that is what you get for signing up for more classes over the summer (no worries, this was done by voluntarily and I 50/50 regretted/not regretted) :D I had not been able to keep my word to be free this summer but I will be next year! ALSO- Happy PRIDE MONTH everyone! This project may not be what you expected since it slipped my mind as I made this. I knew that used this meme for something but then again, I did something else since I forgot. But hey- I can try to whip something else like a drawing or something (-coughcough Poner-) for pride month but this is so far the only thing that might come out this month. If I do manage to make one, it would be released during July or August so.... :P Moving on-! So backstory- This meme just happened to pop up and I decided to take a look. Fell in love with it and decided to look for more just to see others point of view of this meme. Finally been overwhelmed by this fascinating feeling, I decided to make one of my own, only for Pride Month. Since then, it was a bit difficult to decipher what or how I wanted it to go. So I left it at that and then it kind of faded the actual idea as I myself forgot about it and well, made this instead. This entire project is made frame by frame! Around 60 costumes I believe is what it took to color these wonderful characters. Eghk- Its been a while since I have done anything related to these characters stories and this one I had use to show the relationship between these two. I admit, there is nothing that hints what their relationship looks like. Which is why I am going to explain it but not really explain it, y'know? >:3 Rose and Parker are... well its a complicated story. Originally, these two were... bark bark hiss - which is me trying to say that both weren't in their place to understand what their relationship is together. Its confusing and it probably what makes me love them, the confusion between the two and deciding what that relationship is. They are friends for one second and then they become strangers. Strangers became to partners and partners became to enemies. There is no cycle as it tangles them up like when you try to pull a string in a knot and you just happen to tighten it even more or loosen them, but never been able to undo that knot. In Alter:Poner, something I like to call it so that there is no confusion between the two (Alter:Poner and Poner, in which I should have mention this before but eh- I'll say it again), they have been friends since birth. No, they don't consider each other as family. This is because although they were friends since the beginning of their time, they have been both separated from each other for a few years, thus lost contact and is back to regaining that connection. In other words, they no longer see the same friend they were once friends with when they were both just a small kid. Everyone changes :> ... Yeah- I do think I like to keep the confusion going but for now it is identifying the key of their long lost friendship. After all, not all friendships last, so...? :O hInT hINt mY fRieNDs- As for the flags that represent them, Parker doesn't know much (as of right now)but is very self-aware of him tripping and falling into ones arms and falls hard indeed. So in other words, my boy gets himself into bi panics quite often- Rose is gender queer and very much identifies herself just that. And as everyone should at least know, clothes don't define gender. My dear Rose wears what makes her comfortable and very much prefers she/her pronouns. Not because she doesn't like using he/they pronouns but rather because she doesn't want to change that. And please-- don't come at me making a whole lecture about it for their story, telling me that "this is wrong information" involving gender. I, for one, did a lot of research when I myself had trouble with my identity. Pronouns and gender identity are NOT the same or HAVE to match with one another. Gender Identity is complicated, and it is up to the character/person to tell you their prefer pronouns and their gender identity. Like- a man can identify to be a man, but prefers they or she pronouns, y'know? Its a weird example but you get the idea- For more information, I highly suggest lots of research into the topic of gender identity and I mean lots! - of it. P.S Do you hear some sort of sneeze when Rose sneeze?? I suggest wearing headphones to hear it better, but thats just me- P.S.S I changed their outfits because I can- though I am still going to use their og outfits for other memes.
