[Click to zoom || space/arrow button to advance] [FAKE BODY !! ] one and oni :) this took so long this was a request from an old friend. it's kind of crazy how much power older friends can have over you. the constant feeling of needing to please, live up to their original standards that they remember you as. kids, you should not feel this way haha ^^ it's quite a toxic environment to yourself, and my system's already polluted-- but if it makes you you, then..... go ahead I guess :) yes I'm sane I think ? I only listened to the same song over and over again for 11 hours straight while drawing this. Instagram, DEAN. Maybe some of my old loyal followers from way back could remember this from one of my projects. For some reason I can never move on from it. I love this song from the deepest part of my soul, ever since it first came out around the end of 2017. it talks about being stuck in social media, seeing other people live their lives while you're stuck, stuck on that little island you have created for yourself. their world is completely different than yours. you're just left scrolling through images, posting things that don't mean anything. the melody rises and falls hopeful to sorrow, over and over again. I noticed the music I listen to affects the colors and moods of my drawings. this one has a bunch of grey, faded colors, despite all the details. that's what this song sounds like. it sounds like the color grey. but a beautiful, elegant grey, like velvet or satin. ig you really can come out of the depths of your monochrome world. i just need to find the exit :') haha sorry just the stress of high school finally getting to me just 1am thoughts
