You are in love with space. Whether you are studying astronomy or astrology, you love it all. Your walls are covered with both factual posters and unbelievable things that are in space. You have always wanted to go to the final frontier. That is why when you heard that they were sending 100 people to a new, habitable planet for a test run, you ran to sign up, despite your family and friends being skeptical about it. The sign-up process was easy. All you needed to put in was your name, age, and health condition. If you were in good /enough/ health, you were allowed to go to the planet. You were in perfect health as of the time you signed up, so you were allowed to go. Everyone on board was given labels when they entered the cosmic shuttle. You were the 56th member on board, so you were labeled "HF056" by the scientists. After you were labeled, you were taken to a white room full of round, oval-like machines. The scientist explained that these are cryogenic stasis machines. The trip to Angelos I (pronounced an*gel*ohs one) will take ten years. No one on the cosmic shuttle wants to age ten years, so everyone will go into cryogenic stasis. The bodies freeze during the process, conserving life and looks for the next ten years. You did not hear about this part of the journey. Perhaps you should have read the fine print. You shrug it off and walk to your designated stasis machine. You get in, but don't lay down. You realize that your family and friends will be ten years older than they are now by the time you reach this new planet. A lot of changes can happen in ten years, you think as a scientist orders you to lay down. You follow their orders, a solitary tear slowly creeping down your face as you realize all that you are leaving behind.
