kuroh . dmce | click to zoom I drew kuroh today for @Pichi-'s dmc, finished it fairly quickly since I have lots of time rn, because we have a four day weekend thanks to memorial day here in America, which means no school and we had no school on friday for other reasons this was an interesting experience, I'm overall satisfied with the final product, though there a few things I don't like like his face and also his neck is weird, but overall, the coloring went well, especially that... thing in the background I don't know what you have to be high on to see the original drawing's background and be like "i'm gonna make that a snake-fish-chinese dragon creature with a weird floaty tail .? I added it for the sake of compostion, and I do think it works quite well here for visual interest of the background overall, fun experience to draw. Just looking at this I feel like it makes my style inconsistency apparent since i've actively been switching between more realistic paintings, and stylized colorful things with hard edges like this... i dunno at this point I think some of the simplicity in the face especially owes to looking at pichi's original art while drawing, theirs is more pleasing anime-cel shaded, and I think some of that ended up being reflected here, though it's largely just my own style if I have one and I have to say thank you for kuroh's largely simplistic color palette + the orange, makes drawing him alot easier, I think I find drawing this kind of character the easiest #art
