This game is a simulation, no playing needed. Remy is faster and can occupy more space (or dodge attacks faster), but their sword attacks are less powerfull and have less range. They usually take over the whole map and kind of squish Emile into a corner and oppress them. Emile is slower and tends to occupy much of one space with a cluster of Emile, but has a more powerfull sword attack that has more range and stays out longer. They usually stay in one place because of how slow they are, but their cluster is hard to penetrate because of their powers and how packed they are.
The thing that usually happens is that Emile gets some early wins and has a slight advantage when the population numbers are 10-30, but once there are more of Remy, they seem to take over the map and reproduce a lot more efficiently. Because of Emile's tendency to pack into one spot, they usually find themselves outnumbered and cornered, and they easily become extinct. What can also happen is that Remy goes in too early when they have about 5 to 15 members each and lose to their power because they usually go in numbers (and 5-15 isnt that much). So Remy gets trapped wandering the globe trying to repopulate and fight at the same time as Emile slowly conqueres the map. It takes a little more for Remy to go extinct in a tight spot than Emile, but you probably cant create a whole revolution if you're one rat against 221 rats.
