“querencia que·ren·cia | \ kāˈrensyə \ (n.) a place from which one's strength is drawn, where one feels at home; the place where you are your most authentic self” 5/25/22: shifted from alt account to get more attention character: spicy apple coke pronouns: he/him age: 17 name: rhian (yes i completely stole that from sge uwuu) lol what even is this i gave him more of a samurai outfit in the main piece man either i love this character so much or was so bored in class that i finished this in 3 class periods. probably both. it’s kind of an environment/lighting/animation study thingy lol yeah so during my really boring classes i thought up a backstory too rhian (is that weird? might change) grew up in an alternate universe that resembles a futuristic japan. the real had different areas that were much more technologically developed than others, and rainn was born into an extremely wealthy upper class family with a long generation of company owners. rhian hated all that was expected from him, being the only heir in his family. every once in a while, he manages to sneak away from his city life and steal away into a large forest that he stumbled across once when he was 8. in the forest, he trains in jujitsu, the fighting style known by few and that he was taught in by a professional since he was 5 years old. one day, rhian heard screams in the street as he was trying to escape to the forest. on instinct, rhian ran quickly to the source, a young boy and his younger sister trying to fend off a group of thugs from stealing their grocery money. rhian lunged in and quickly pinned the thugs to the wall, waiting for the police to show up. meanwhile, the boy and his sister thanked him profusely and offered him their money. he refused to take their money and told them to be more cautious in the future. the children nodded rapidly and scurried home. rhian then realized two things; first that he could not let the police see him with the thugs, otherwise they would ask him where he was going and tell his parents. and secondly that he felt a thrill from the past few minutes— not from beating up the gang, but from helping the children and getting to safety… from that day on, rhian secretly saved people and left the criminals safely unconscious for the police to find. rhian became known as the “masked samurai”, because no one knew who he was. so i hope you understand the animation more lol. if not, in the beginning he was in the city, and the transition was to the forest where he trains. art: me ( @azxea or @princess_coding) zoom: @colorsnatch character: @—poison-pen— time: art piece 3hrs-ish (done on kleki), animation 2hrs15mins #art #entry # animations #dtae #dta #lightingpractice #enviornmentstudy
