kenku's can only talk via mimicry, meaning she has limits on how she can describe things, however. shes heard lots of things and can speak clearly, aside from her mask. which she can only refer too as "the night-light mask" while wearing her mask, she speaks more in the voice in the song, aswell as more confidently, without the mask, she focused more on mimicry, and her sentences have much more variation in the voices. for her backstory: she was initially born in a small "village," about 10 kenku's. at about 12 she was taught how to hunt properly, using her talons and claws, as-well as throwing knifes. which was all the village knew how too do, because of their curse limiting them to mimicry, and well. they didnt interact with the other species. at 15, she was hunting, this time though, it was a human. she was never taught what a human was, didnt even know how to refer to them. they attacked. the human was on a horse, which she hit easily, disabling it (later killing it.) with the human then saying "the midnight mask truly was a downfall, eh?" before they laughed, taking a knife out. sadly, this knife didnt save them, leading to their death. when bringing the horse and the human back, they reacted poorly, they could only say stuff along the lines as "leave him alive!" and "avoid that at all costs!" which, truly made no sense to fwuu. she was not punished though, and went to sleep. however, the next day the humans came looking for trouble. they didnt even say a word, just ran around each house, slicing open anyone who attempted to stop them. fwuu obviously ran, with one chasing after her. she easily killed him though, just as she did the other. taking their cloak, and putting the mask on, *mimicing* what the person they initially killed looked like they proceeded to a human village that they found, they where quite bad at social interaction, but they managed for a few months, before they picked up enough phrases too talk properly. they took multiple hunting jobs for about three years, and when she was 18, she was approached by someone new, this person asked for a hunting job too, except they wanted an elf's body, not a pig's. she accepted, and continued getting more, untill she was about 21, when she decided to move out, wanting to figure out more about the mask, after realizing how little she knew. searching for about a year, going village to village, taking quests, buying gear, food, and some nice crystals and shiny armor (the lesbian and paragirl flags)
