~Targeting~ What is targeting? When a bully specifically bullies a certain type of person because of their protected class, feelings (jealousy, etc), because they're easy to pick on, etc. What if a bully ALWAYS targets me? It's called harassment. If a bully bullies you because of a certain look or protected class, it's then called harassment and you should see an adult. What's a protected class? A protected class refers to certain groups of individuals protected by anti-discrimination laws, such as women, older workers, people with disabilities, minorities and others.
