Artist: @Constable-Angua Character: Susan Sto Helit Book: Terry Pratchett's Discworld series PSI: Please don't comment a certain word/abbreviation starting with O and ending with G, because I find the meaning offensive. Thanks! I would have done the character my account is named after, Angua von Uberwald, but I've already done fanart of her. So I thought I'd draw Susan Sto Helit. Susan is Death's granddaughter (yes, you read that correctly; Death, as in the anthropomorphic personification. The Grim Reaper. He has a granddaughter.) This means she is only mostly human, and she can do things like stopping time and walking through walls. One plot for a Discworld book features her doing Death's job because he got sidetracked. (Spoiler: she makes an almighty mess of it. But then, she was only sixteen at the time and is an adult for the rest of the series.) She appears in 'Soul Music', 'Hogfather', and 'Thief of Time'. 1- Sketch (urgh, it's awful!) 2- Lineart (better, fixed some of the more obvious problems) 3- Flat colours. Susan's eye colour has never been canonically established (that I'm aware of, and I did check TV Tropes and the L-Space wiki first to make sure it wasn't mentioned in a book I just haven't read), but as Death has glowing blue eyes, this seemed like a suitable eye colour to use in this drawing. It doesn't quite look natural, but it's not supposed to. (Later I also checked other people's fanart of her, and I'm not alone in making this assumption.) 4- Shade (all in one go because it's the 28th already in Australia and I'm running out of time) 5- Background, and it's done! I couldn't find any suitable music. #constable-angua #snehacreates #drawing #art #vector #sve #fac #fanart #competition #contest #entry #susanstohelit #soulmusic #hogfather #thiefoftime #death #discworld
