Chapter 3. My eyes flutter open and a really bright light shines down on my face, causing me to blink several times before sitting upright and looking around. Where am I? I think to myself. “You’re in the chamber of the curse. This is where you will spend most of your time solving riddles in order to defeat the curse once and for all. If you are able to stop the curse, the curse will be forever broken.” A voice responds. An image flashes through my mind and I gasp. “You’re the creature from The Chamber Of The Underworld. Why are you after me?” The creature shakes its head and transforms into a handsome boy. His hair is sandy blonde and his eyes are a dark brown. “Sure, I’m from The Chamber Of The Underworld, but that doesn’t always mean I’m a creature. You really offended me there, Miss…?” “Hannah. Hannah Retter.” I say, introducing myself. “Well, Miss Hannah Retter, I am Rick Klyde. From whom do you get your sea ocean eyes?” “My mother. You might know her. Morgan Retter?” I ask suspiciously. “I think you don’t know how we ‘creatures’, as you put it, work. See, I don’t get every single person of your generation. One of my siblings always gets a different one. If so, my mother and father get the toughest one, the youngest sibling gets the weakest one, and the neutral siblings get the simple ones.” “How many siblings do you have?” I ask, exhausted from hearing so many people divided into different groups. “I have 7 siblings. 1 younger brother, 3 neutral brothers and sister, and 3 tough sisters. So 4 sisters and 3 brothers.” He says, his brows furrowing as he does the math in his head. He suddenly shakes his head, and a smile replaces the confusion. “So, Miss Hannah, this has been fun, but you must go back to your own world. Your mother, Miss Morgan, is quite.. Concerned.. I will see you later, Hannah.” My eyelids start getting heavy again, and my eyes are blurry. I sway to the side, eyes shutting, and for the second time, I black out. Comment and follow for Chapter 4!!
