Instructions

so i noticed someone got mad at me for a bad take on remixing/crediting that's over a year old, so i'm making a new one. the thing is that crediting is like using sources for an essay. if you don't, you get deductions for plagiarism. same thing with "c2a". sure, you can use it, but it doesn't give the exact credits to anyone really. before you comment "what if 500 people i need to credit" there is no such thing as that. even if there was a project that had such, it would be simplified into groups of people. honestly it's not making me mad, nor am i mad at the theft of such. heck you could add a singular dot that's so invisible nobody would notice. it's not even not crediting the original author that makes me mad. this leads into another issue on asking for usage first. i mean, asking to use a song is cool, and when they ask to give credits, you do such. if you are reading this, cat sprite is free to use, no credit required

Description

tl;dr - c2a is kinda stupid as it doesn't credit every person, and the other issue is permission to use the thing in the first place. policy: ask for use on anything i have actually made, then credit when appropriate. i don't care about the smallest theft/remix like that, but i know there are people that are kind and generous. i just really don't care about stealing something i made for free (at least not anymore). now steal something i make for profit and we start having an issue.
