Scratch was released on 19 May 2007. 15 years ago. Since then it has fostered creativity and allowed millions of people to grow as coders. Scratch is an excellent place to learn the basics of coding which is becoming an increasingly more important skill in our society. Everyone's scratch journey begins in school, just stumbling upon the website or word of mouth. We make an account and our first project is scratch cat spinning in random directions. We all remember it! Then, because of the simplicity of scratch and the great community we learn and grow our knowledge of coding and have lots of fun doing it. Thank you Scratch!
