Closer birds move more when perspective changes, resulting in a parallax effect. As angle changes, with left and right arrows, X position of birds varies with sine of angle multiplied by the hypotenuse. Visualization shows trig for the X pos (distance from center) of closest bird: sine θ * bird rotation axis (here it is about the apparent size of the bird).
