NO SPOILERS IF ITS ALREADY AIRED FOR YOU Spoilers for pretty much all of Amphibia up until today's episode Oh great frog, Amphibia is coming to an end in less than 3 hours. (it's 5:13pm rn as of me starting to type this) I am truly afraid. This is the end, and it's going to be crazy. I wish it could've lasted longer, but hopefully it finishes good. I know that if a show is being made for too long, it eventually becomes dull and boring as it could've ended at any earlier moment and been fine. (spongebob was supposed to stop after the first movie and the 3rd season, after the original creator died, the show started to lose its spark) I don't have any theories that come to mind, so I'm just gonna analyze the extended promo. (https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=cfFSacgWkuM should be the link) Ok so how the heck did the Core get up on the moon?! And what are those monsters? robots? things coming out of it?! And this is the Core's final boss phase basically. I imagine it didn't originally intend to resort to the moon. But the moon was part of the prophecy :') Valeriana and Mother Olm are gonna be there aaaaa Maybe there will be more Amphibians who are part of that ancient order? Unless Valeriana and Mother Olm are the only ones left. Summoning the power comes at a price?! WHAT PRICE MOTHER OLM?! "Take me to Anne!" "You better come back alive, Boonchuy!" WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN TO ANNE?!?!?! IT LOOKS LIKE SHE'S GOING UP SOMEWHERE So how do I want Amphibia to end? Well, I kinda want a bittersweet ending, which is probably gonna happen. Mother Olm said the powers come at a price. Even if the Calamity Trio saves Amphibia, what is that price going to be? Will the stones not be able to be charged again to open a portal home? Will the box still be able to open portals but the trio will be trapped? These gems were ancient newt stuff, far before Andrias's rule. Far before even Aldrich's for all we know! I don't want to go as far to saying the trio will die, it's Disney after all! They got serious backlash just from Marcy being stabbed that True Colors was delayed a week! AND THEY GOT BACKLASH FOR THAT- Now say they die, but not in the way you think, maybe the powers will drain all the energy out of the trio, like life force energy. Mother Olm says that like this is the price they had to pay or smth since the powers were literally in foreign creatures that are also barely teenagers. But like someone suggests that since those stones were so ancient, maybe there's a way to revive them the ancient newts never found. Away from all the death and all that other crap we're worried about in a tv-y7 show qwq How else could we have a bittersweet ending? -The shows pulls a Star Vs The Forces of Evil and the box has to be destroyed, and the humans have to go home forever. -The show still pulls a SVTFOE but some Amphibians and maybe one of the human protagonists makes a hard choice of what world they're going to live in. -Everything is fine and normal and the calamity box can still make portals. But Marcy may still have to move away. -Marcy's parents may have already moved away, assuming she was lost forever, or they couldn't wait any longer for their daughter to return. -No matter if Marcy's parents are still there or not, Marcy may have to stay in Amphibia for some reason. These are just my assumptions and theories and all that crap :') I'mma head off for now, next time y'all see me, I'll probably be dead inside forever. Gonna eat dinner, take a shower, and wait for Amphibia. Feel free to share some theories, this is our last hours before the show ends. Nows the time. :(
