Hi! this is my DTA entree. ---------------------------Backstory-------------------------- Tadpole wakes up. "Were am I?" she wonders out-loud. "Your in the Lily Marsh" said a voice from behind. "Who's there!" Tadpole spun around to see a small fox. "I'm Roses, what's your name?" "Tadpole," Tadpole replied cautiously. "What are you?" Roses asked sniffing her. "I'm a lightwisker," Tadpole proudly said. "A WHAT?" Roses tipped her head to the side. "A Lightwisker," Tadpole repeated." My parents are Lightwiskers too!" "But what is a light, a lightwi, A lightwincer....?" "A Lightwisker," Tadpole corrected. "Well what are they?" "When we come of age we each earn a element that we have a special connection with. Mine is water!" "Oh," said Roses blankly. "Hey, where are your parents?" "Ummmmm, I don't know." *sigh* "It's okay," Roses encouraged laying her tail across Tadpoles. "Thanks!" Tadpole smiled at her new friend. Her parents weren't going to be found, she knew they had died, but Tadpole didn't what to believe it. Why did that Bear have to come? It's over now, Tadpole reminded herself firmly, she could have a new life here. One that wasn't haunted by her past.
