healing disabled characters is not ok. Healing a disabled character in a story, especially just... with MaGic, is so harmful. Disabilities already have so much stigma against them, so if a character's disability is fixed, and it's seen as a good thing, then having one must be a bad thing. Right? We need to show disabilities as just,, another trait, like how I have blue eyes, not as an awful thing that must be gotten rid of immediately. SO many popular pieces of media have gotten away with this. The dragon prince healed soren, for one. not even scratch is safe. I personally don't like skittles the bunny, and it's actually because of this. she healed ruby with magic, and every character rejoiced at this. Skittles, as far as I know, never addressed this. I don't like it. If she did address it, I won't really have anything against her anymore. but she hasn't. So I do. anyways, just... don't heal disabled characters. I am not disabled and have an outsider opinion, but oakwyrm on YT is, and they talk about this a lot. they do swear sometimes though, so only watch them if you're ok with that or are allowed to. thanks, freyja edit: i sent a message to skittles about whether or not she thought healing ruby was wrong and about how healing disabled characters isn't ok and she said "ik I know that now, I was inconsiderate when I was first writing the comic" nothing against you anymore :)
