Headshot BIO Name: Mayumi Gender: female [ she / her ] Species: japanese bobtail Personality: gentle, way too curious, clumsy Backstory: It was raining hard. Mayumi trotted along the path, shaking her fur and sending water droplets flying. She ducked under a tree arch in an attempt to escape the rain, when she noticed something interesting. The air in front of her warped and glimmered. She peered through to the other side... it looked the same. Mayumi tentatively poked a paw through the portal, then her head, then her whole body. She found herself on a much smaller path. The trees and plants seemed smaller as well. Some kind of orange rodent darted away into the undergrowth... wait was that a fox?? She continued down the path, arriving at a clearing. A group of squirrels stared at her. She stared back at the soaked critters, why were they so tiny? They were small enough to fit into her little house. They were small enough to... small enough... realization hit - 2 months later - When she realized that she had found the way into another realm full of smaller creatures, Mayumi realized the good she could do and the meaning her life could have. From then on, she had been visiting the realm weekly to make friends, help out, and take the critters places they would never be able to reach on their own. Mayumi made her way to the tree arch on her routine visit. She did this secretively, knowing not everyone was as kind hearted as her. She leapt through the portal and was greeted by the forest critters. They chirped happily and Mayumi laid down, allowing them to get on her back. She had the whole trip planned out; they would go see the waterfalls, take a swim, then climb to the top of the mountain for a gorgeous view of the land. Mayumi set off.
