I've been thinking and I remembered that I used to be homophobic and I thought that was kinda funny lol cos I'm definitely not anymore XD but like I was also talking to Iris (@-paintedflqwers-) and she said something about how someone was attacking another person on scratch for not supporting lgbtq+ so i decided to make a project about when to be angry at people for not being supportive - Don't attack people for not being supportive if they aren't actively spreading negativity. this goes for irl too. if someone says something like "wait, you support that?" then instead of immediately going full rage on them, try to explain why. you might either earn a new ally, or at least make them question why they are homophobic. because not all homophobes are genuinely mean, some are just misinformed, like I used to be. but if they are being a jerk, report them and go full rage :) - some reasons why some people might be homophobic but in a confused and neutral manner: - they grew up in a very religious household - they were raised in a homophobic house - they've never actually met an lgbtq+ person - they've only met one lgbtq+ person and that person was just a bad person (this was me. I met one queer person who was a toxic friend and painted everyone with the same brush as a consequence) - so give second chances pls check back in a year and they may well have come out as aroace and have multiple platonic partners* XD - anyways, enjoy frug choild <33 their outfit is inspired by morgan donner on yt's circle outfits video. i highly recommend her if you're into historical dress or sewing :) * non-serious platonic partners. mainly just so we can use being platonic partners as leverage for doing things together in PE lol
