[Original text and project credits goes fully to @AlexStudiosINC, I am just spreading the word.] Hello everyone. There has been some unsettling news on Turbowarp indicating that the Scratch Team is redoing the code that will make unshared projects no longer viewable on turbowarp. And this isn’t actually good at all. For people who work on big projects such as Scratch’s Elites and Infinity Gears, Animators and asset makers RELY on unshared projects such as with placing assets in an unshared project so animators will work independently on their animations with the assets provided and send them into a bigger project, and with Unshared projects no longer being viewable, Bigger projects will almost be seen impossible to do now since animators will no longer have access to important stuff that they need to use to complete their animation for a part. Of course remixing is a thing to Scratch, but that doesn’t mean people would NEED to use it, and it’s not even that good of a use since we will have to be forced of sharing projects just for a bigger project in the end, but eventually multiple people will still see progress of what an animation is going, and that will just destroy the fun of an animator and creator. Bigger things will release when they are ready to release, and they deserve to be made in the fastest way possible. Infinity Gears relied on this. Scratch’s Elites relied on this. Even The Unfamous relied on this. And if the Scratch team wants to take that away from us, then what else would we have other than to make multiple projects of remixes. This just doesn’t make collaborators and everyone disappointed, it will eventually depreciate the entire majority of the Scratch Community. Anyone of the ST, if you’re reading this, please take this to consideration and have a heart. This is something we really rely on for our projects with the greatest animation and storytelling. We do not want it to go. Here is the form if you want to talk more about this situation: https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/602417/?page=1#post-6276579 #ConsiderCollabs -Alex
