Description

~ WOOOOOO WTA time baby!! This was super fun to do, I really like this little dude. He needs some friends the poor guy. I did draw a little art to get myself motivated for writing, I hope you don't mind! Also I didn't proofread this so sorry in advance lmao ~ ~ Astro // Male // 15+ // Rather Feeble // A bit of a softie, the rest of his family fight amongst the stars while he spends time tending to the galactic Lilies. // Loves visiting the zodiacs, where he comes from their worshiped and each tribe is based after a zodiac, his tribe is Virgo. // He likes the Zodiacs because they behold great wisdom, they also bare great tales of the stars, they love telling Astro many stories. // The rings are a sign he is the child of the stars - His parents hide this from him as his tribe hate any use of Magic. ~ ~ A cool wind cut through Astro's short fur, ruffling it and almost drowning out the soft whispers that barely reached his ears. In response, soft yellow eyes opened, taking in the rapidly darkening sky. Dread seemed to dull the bright stars shining in the pupils, and the soft murmurs telling glorious stories of days past abruptly cut off. He could feel their dismay as he got up slowly, a sigh rising from deep inside of him. He swallowed it back, smiling apologetically to the spirits he could not see. "Sorry. I have to go, though. I'm already late, and..." He didn't finish the thought. The voices spoke no more, staying silent. He wasn't surprised. They never begged him to stay or tried to offer him a safe place. They seemed happy enough to share their stories when he's here, but otherwise show no emotion, no attachment to him. It hurt a little, though he told himself he shouldn't be so worked up over some beings that liked to ramble to him. It wasn't logical, and the tribes did seem to love logic. Unfortunately, it wasn't really his thing. As he strolled down the tall hill he had been sitting on, his steps hesitant and slow, his glowing gaze wandered towards the horizon. The place where he lived was in view, though it was hard to see against the glare of the setting sun. Still, he squinted so he could focus his eyes on his family's home. But not his home, not really. It hasn't been a home to him for seven years, not since he was ten and the rings appeared. They had seemed to be stuck to him, much to his parents' dismay, and his caretakers had told his tribe, Virgo, that he had ran away. His sister had been horrified, and at first had spent as much time with him as she could, but nowadays she was too busy with her courting to help him. At least it kept his parents out of the house, too. "I suppose I should be happy about it all," he mused to himself, not for the first time. "After all, now I get to hear incredible stories." Stories about magic, which was practically a forbidden topic in Virgo. But he had had friends in the village, once upon a time, and they were lost to him. His parents were the next to go, growing cold after only a few weeks of hiding him. And now his sister would have a husband soon, and she'd have to move out. Who knows what his parents would do with him then? Would they throw him out? With a jolt he realized he was in front of the door to his family's house. He could hear his father making dinner, his na climbing the steps to their room, his sister complaining about something or another. He bit back another sigh as he searched his mind for an excuse on why he was back so late, of why he was even out in the first place. Then, finally, he placed his paw on the doorknob and turned the handle, opening the door. ~
