Phantasm, basically a song where Sonic is fighting his inner being, Fleetway Super Sonic. Basically, this is what happens: Whenever Sonic gets stressed or is having a lot of fear, he unleashes Fleetway Super Sonic, Fleetway Super Sonic is a version of Super Sonic that is pure evil. Sonic is not in control of his body anymore, and it's like a whole new person comes out. Fleetway Super Sonic is an evil person, eliminating everyone in his sight. Sometime during the story, he gets separated from Sonic, and his biggest fear, is re-merging with Sonic. So, he'll do anything for that to NOT happen. He remerges in the end I think.
