It was a long, hard journey that I don't regret taking. Returning to this platform after over two years of absence from this account, I find myself a completely different person. This website has shaped me as a person in ways both good and bad. However, I would be lying if I claimed that my presence here was a good thing. Scratch had never been good for me. However, it was a great learning experience. And despite all that occurred on this platform, since the very day I was introduced to it by my (then) close friend, I have realized that a considerable amount of good has come of it. If it weren't for this place, I wouldn't be where I am today. My art wouldn't have evolved so much. I would never have met my now best online friend. I wouldn't have developed such a love for creation. At the same time, however, my mental health wouldn't have plummeted in the same way. I wouldn't have resented the people around me just for caring. I wouldn't have learned to hate authority with a burning passion. I wouldn't have been an emo borderline furry and used "uwu" and "XD" unironically for an embarrassing amount of my childhood. But despite it all, I wouldn't have learned so deeply about myself and the complicated world around me, for better or for worse. After many mental health scares and subsequent trips to psychiatric facilities, I'm now involved in various types of therapy, and I am being medicated for major depression, anxiety, OCD, and other diagnoses I don't feel comfortable with putting out atm. As I finish this long, rambly message that no one will ever read, I have decided that, as much as this site has impacted me, I will never be returning. Perhaps one day, I'll make another brief appearance just for kicks and giggles, maybe even chat with y'all sometimes, but for now, this is the end of @Sigy4265 . It was a fun ride, everyone.
