Chapter 1 Abysswing felt his wings shutter as ice fell from the sky. The ice kingdom is not the place for a nightwing but he had to find his way back soon. Queen Moonstar was never in the mood for late nightwing visitors, and Queen Devilsnare was not in the mood for lazy little animus demonwings not doing what she says. The letter slipped halfway from his hand as he finally arrived at the night kingdom. He crashed through a castle window and landed on his chest in front of queen Moonstar. "What are you doing here you clumsy nightwing?" She hissed. "M-message for you from someone." He stuttered. Moonstar snatched the letter, and as she read her face turned to horror and her eyes as big as the moons. "THAT ROTTEN LITTLE DEVIL FAT HEADED PIECE OF TRASH! HOW DARE SHE EVEN TRY TO KILL EVERY QUEEN HERE! SHE CAN'T EVEN KILL A SNAIL!" Moonstar roared, which made Abysswing step back. What would happen if Moonstar found out he was a demonwing? He knew it wouldn't be good, but what will a no good queen do about it? Abysswing rolled his eyes as he exited the castle. He walked slowly across the rocky ash ground. Suddenly a loud boom made him jump up in the air, and he unexpectedly seen a raging Queen Moonstar. He laughed until Moonstar grabbed his horn and dragged him over to the arena. She forgot about the ceremony, like how she forgets about a lot of important things. "What are you doing?" Abysswing growled, struggling from Moonstars talons. She threw him inside the arena and sent letters to the nightwings reminding them about the ceremony. The fight ceremony was held every 10 years for a reason nobody but the ancestors understood. The ceremony was created 897 years ago by the first nightwing queen. Suddenly Abysswing saw Airshifter, his worst enemy, glaring at him. Abysswing had a feeling that Airshifter knew he was a demonwing in disguise. But Airshifters no good daughter Moonshade was always fussing at Abysswing everytime he said something. But Airshifter- something about the way she looked at him told him she knew what he really was. TBC
