Space The 5 Engines were all built-in 1920 with streamlining and ran express trains from Washington to Baltimore however the class in the late 1930s was bumped down to commuter trains when larger passenger locomotives came. In 1950 the class was sold for scrap all except 154 which had recent running gear work done and was donated to a group in Baltimore and displayed at the B&O railroad museum than in 1967 it started excursion work on the mainline after a 4-year restoration. It was known to be a good runner and in 1968 ran a few excursions at high speed. it operated on and off from 1968 to 1985 when a major rebuild was needed. However, there was not enough funding. the Group owning the locomotive displayed it at the Illinois railroad museum until 1994 when it was moved to be displayed indoors at the group's headquarters in Richmond Virginia where work has been done occasionally however theres a lot to do
