MILD FLASHING!! DEATH WARNING!! Wolves have been debated over for years, supported, despised, injured, or even killed. I honestly support wolves (Any wolf-hating comments will be deleted) and I will dedicate a couple or more projects to helping them. Below are a few answers to myths. -Wolves eat domestic sheep. Ok, I'm getting tired of this one. Research has shown that wolves are the cause of 1% of total sheep deaths. Way more sheep are killed by natural causes such as weather and disease than all predator causes combined! So my suggestion is at least first prevent weather or disease from killing sheep THEN worry about predators. There are non-death ways of solving the predator issue. Flags put on fences can confuse the predators and stop them from eating domestic sheep. -Wolves kill all the elk. No! They only eat the sick, old, and young. They have to eat sometime and they can't survive off of plants. That would be like telling a human to live off of twigs for the rest of their life. Wolves just aren't adapted to eat plants! However, they can if there is less food around, but they still probably won't get the same energy as eating prey, without energy, they can’t run from those who hunt then such as humans, tigers, and bears. -Wolves kill without reason. Nope. WE do that. The only reason a wolf would kill without any reason to eat is that either the animal as on its territory and it might pose a threat to its pack or it has a disease which makes it attack. Respect a wolf's boundaries if one is encountered. The character in this meme is Robin. Her home was destroyed for construction so she was forced to move. Her new forest was dark and gloomy, mist hovering in the trees. How could she live here? She decided that she would find a new home for herself, leaving what would be her last home before she traveled for the rest of her days.
