Sorry for not posting in a while! -and yes, I am getting on with The Server. For various reasons- technical difficulties, irl events and beginning of term 2 at college- I've had to delay releasing voice audition results, so sorry. They're coming soon. Meanwhile here is this. Anyway, I've experimented with Paint 3D in the past, and recently I realised I also have this even more out-of-date Microsoft app called Paint. I actually really like a lot of the effects you can get on it. It's not, like, gonna replace SVE, but it's nice to know it's there. 1- Interior of treehouse home for my OC 2- OC 3- Blonde girl wearing red blouse 4- Art process for previous drawing: i. Sketch; dark grey watercolour brush ii. Shadows of hair; egg yolk yellow watercolour brush iii. Highlights of hair; pale yellow watercolour brush iv. Hair body; ash blonde watercolour brush v. Touching up; darker blonde and peach watercolour brushes vi. Cheeks; pale pink spray brush vii. Skin shadows; dark peach marker viii. Skin highlights; pale peach marker ix. Skin body; peach spray brush x. Blocking in original skin tints; dark, pale and normal peach markers xi. Restoring cheeks; pale pink spray brush xii. Blouse shadows; dark red highlighter xiii. Blouse highlights; pale red highlighter xiv. Blouse body; red highlighter xv and final. Blouse effect; red spray brush 5. Monstrosities 6. OK-ish Paint sketch 7. Same sketch, touched up and finished in Paint 3D. Now it's kinda ugly. 8. To be fair, some of the great artists were just as messy as this. Their manual skills were far greater than mine, though. 9- I suspect I'm going to be obsessed with style for a while now. No. 8 is better than this one. 10- ...and sure enough.
