hi everyone! please take a little time to read this! click the green flag for some music Hi there! Can we talk? I have a word. You look awesome today! Even though I can't see you, I bet you are! But, looks aren't everything, you know that? It's the kindness and light in your heart that matters. People have different abilities. Some people are good at drawing. Others are good at sports. Everybody has a strength. A strength that matters. You don't have to be perfect. Nobody's perfect! I know I'm not. Look, you may have been a bit snappy or rude today, or not. I am. All the time. Apologizing when it's the right time matters. Someone might have said something mean to you today. That wasn't nice of them, and it's not true. They don't have the right to say that thing to you. That thing is just trying to pull you down, and pull you underwater. Don't let it drag you under. You're a strong person, and you need to keep pushing through your hard times. You need to try. What was that? You "can't" try? Try anyway. Don't give up now. You're too young. It doesn't matter how old you are. You're too young to give up. Keep going. Keep pushing forward. Find your way through the dark. And importantly, if you're being bullied, tell an adult you trust. It's not tattling if you don't feel safe or respected. If the bully is "more mean to you," after you tell, the people at school will probably look more into it once you tell, and prevent it from happening anymore. You have a right to feel safe. You have a right to feel respected. You have a right to be yourself. As long as it doesn't hurt others. I see you trying. You want to give up. Don't. It may seem REALLY hard. But once you try, eventually, you will come out of the dark, even if it's a few years from now. If you don't try, you will never come out of the dark. You will never come to the surface of the water. But if you try, you can become the better self I KNOW you are, deep down. Keep going. For me? <3
